Pledges for Angel Baby!!

Angel's surgery is complete [I think] ... After moving her from "VCA-AllCare" (who wanted $5-8 THOUSAND DOLLARS) to HUNTINGTON PET VET, Dr. Allison Naito, the COMPLETED SURGERY IS JUST AT $2000 ... THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR HER AFTER CARE. As you'll recall ...Lynn had borrowed $2000 which she gave to "VCA-AllCare". VCA, after ONLY stabilizing Angel, taking xrays and pain meds, KEPT almost $1700.00 for the 30 hours Angel was in their care. OUTRAGEOUS in my humble opinion ... but I'm not a Vet.

Lynn will do anything to ensure Angel will walk again ... Pledges or No-Pledges. I would hope anyone reading this, who feels lead to help this wonderful lady NOT be in debt until the "end-of-time" .. will pledge a donation to :

Dr. Allison Naito
Huntington Pet Vet
20032 Beach Blvd.
Huntington Beach, CA 92648

If you pledge ... please send Lynn a little eline so she can possibly get you a Tax Deduction. Address: aaskygal1@yahoo com

A young girl called tonight and asked about the injured doxie. She was very sweet and said her boyfriend had found angel on his way to work at 4am and had brought her back to her and her mom's house. They had kept her and then went to several shelters till they were directed to Orange. The other ones wouldn't take her because she was found in Huntington Beach. He found her on the sidewalk by Beach and Adams, just lying there with her leg hanging and shivering. He had realized she had been hit and just left there. This makes me so sick. I tend to believe her and have her phone # and address and told her i would send her a reward early in the conversation and she said no that's okay she just wanted to make sure she was okay. They had seen a flyer and just wanted to check up on her. The more I talked with her the more I believed her. My poor baby angel. Pray for her operation tomorrow. I'm concerned about her operation, I need to call Dr. Naito and see if she is going to do it all tomorrow or just some. She comes in at 9am and I leave at that time so I will call at 8am and see what I can find out. The other hospital said they would have to do it in two. oh dear, what to think.Yea, I'm getting nervous for the first time. Love you guys and thank you for all your help. I sent my rare books today to the broker and started the listing on eBay for the Tom and Jerry punch bowl and mugs. Thurs I'm going to post the antique dressers, etc on Craig's list. I did read all the charities and will get on them on Thurs also. God bless us all luv ya, me

Pledge $$ for Angel Baby’s Pelvis Surgery!

Pledge $$ for Angel Baby’s Pelvis Surgery!

OKAY … here’s the story: Our dear friend, Lynn, was at a training seminar in Dallas last week. The pet sitter, who was caring for Angel, accidentally let her get out during all the HOOP-LAA after the Laker’s won on Thursday evening. I think we’ve all had experience with what happens when dogs get frightened by fireworks … they run until they drop …or worse!

Lynn (who wasn’t aware of the “runaway”) returned home Friday afternoon and immediately had 100’s of posters made and started canvassing the surrounding neighborhoods. Angel was brought to the shelter in Orange County Saturday morning after being hit by a car. THANKFULLY, she was identified by her Microchip and Lynn was able to get her immediate medical attention.

Bottom Line: The surgery (@ “VCA ALL-CARE”) to repair the leg ligament and pelvis correction had been quoted at $5-8 THOUSAND DOLLARS! Lynn was able to borrow $2000 to get Angel stabilized. She then transferred her [Monday] to Huntington Pet Vet. Dr. Allison Naito, (Angel’s regular vet), thinks she can put “Angel back together again” for something LESS than the originally quoted amount but hasn’t given any hard number yet. Lynn has exhausted her credit limit and was trying to sell her furniture to raise the money for Angel! My heart just breaks for her! WE ARE our “brothers’ keepers” and I am pledging to send $100 to Dr. Naito on Angel’s behalf. I am asking all my Facebook Friends to search your hearts and if you feel lead to help, make a pledge to Dr. Naito for Angel’s surgery. (One trip thru Starbucks’ Drive –Thru is $8 … pledge your Monday coffee run!) ANY amount will help!

UPDATE: I just learned that Angel’s pelvis is broken in FOUR places AGH!! And will have to be stabilized with a plate. It may take TWO surgeries to repair.

Here’s the Vet Info:
