The Myrnx has given up on the Pump altogether! Her Endo (we saw yesterday) said some older T1's just aren't able to deal with technology

Does your daughter like Levemir? I have some readers asking about it...Did Ashlee ever use Lantus? and then made the switch?

Isn't that strange! Ashlee, at six, just absolutely CRIED and sobbed when she got her Lantus injection. So something about Lantus "hurts" her ahhh and she's so precious about it!
I KNOW the drill however! Sometimes (in my family, at least) one type/brand of insulin will work like a champ for many months ... then the #'s go bad and (my mom) would have to switch, AGAIN! My mom REALLY misses Lente (her old long-acting, over night insulin) IN FACT, all my mom's problems started when it was discontinued!
Amy, our daughter, hasn't really researched any insulins out there. She like her DAD ...just give what the doc says! She has gotten better about tweaking doses, thanks to some of your D-mom blogs I've sent her! :-)
